Police are looking for some brazen thieves who made off with nearly a quarter of a million dollars worth of motorcycles Thursday from a store in Millstone.
According to the owner of Xtreme Machines, two thieves swiped the store's truck and trailer, which contained four professional racing bikes. Some of the bikes belonged to national champion racer Tommy Miceli. Ray Golson, of Xtreme Machines, was a professional racer for more than a decade and owned one of the stolen custom bikes. He says you can't buy the motorcycles just anywhere. According to Golson, they are handmade and custom built.
The two thieves were caught on the store's surveillance cameras, which were turned over to police. From the tapes, police were able to locate the truck, trailer and three of the four missing motorcycles. However, the thieves remain on the loose.
