Assemblyman Jon Bramnick (R) will open the first of a series of hearings Monday to discuss reforming New Jersey's political system in light of the recent corruption sting.
Last month, 44 people, including lawmakers, community leaders and rabbis, were arrested in an FBI corruption probe. Bramnick says the hearing will demand the next governor reform state politics and refrain from taking bribes.
A Quinnipiac University poll released last week shows more than half of voters associate the Democratic Party with corruption since the arrests. Bramnick says the issue isn't a partisan one and says he will work with Democrats and Republicans during the hearings.
