Bradley Beach hosted its annual Memorial Day festival Saturday and kicked off the three-day event with a parade.
The grand marshal of the parade is retired New Jersey National Guard Robert Quinlan.
Quinlan was born in Newark in 1938 and joined the state's National Guard in 1956. He retired as a major in 1979.
