The Bradley Beach Council held its first meeting since the town’s police chief was forced to retire six months early following a confrontation with another officer.

Chief Leonard Guida was previously suspended with pay following the Nov. 9 incident.

News 12’s Ali Reid was at the meeting as Mayor Larry Fox and the council both addressed a room full of concerned members of the community.
