Some students in Bound Brook headed back to school Wednesday after classes were canceled due to flooding.
Students at the high school had more than a week off after the nor?easter on April 15. Three schools were forced to close so the town could use the buildings as shelters for evacuees.
The students had a half day on Wednesday and will return to their regular schedules Thursday. Many students say they are happy to be back to school.
?I missed school. I didn?t get to see my friends because some of my friends got affected so I couldn?t see them,? one student said.
There is no word yet on whether the students will have to make up the missed classes.
