North Haledon, Haledon and a few streets in Paterson continue to live under a boil water advisory weeks after the Paterson water main break occurred and has since been repaired.

Making matters more difficult is the fact that school will be starting later this week as well.

Although water service has returned to most, boiling the water (and letting it cool) is still necessary for many when using for drinking or brushing teeth as water authorities continue flushing tests to ensure quality.

North Haledon and Haledon will also continue with bottled water distribution this week.
