and Bloomfield College have plans to merge.
Bloomfield College previously faced the possibility of shutting down due
to financial troubles.
The college would be renamed Bloomfield College of Montclair State University. This would happen once the presidents of both schools sign an agreement and plan of merger.
The merger would be finalized
by next June.
