An activist from Elizabeth says the criminal justice system is “showing its true colors” after police are being criticized for a double-standard for how they treated Black Lives Matters protesters and pro-Trump rioters at the Capitol.

An activist from Elizabeth says the criminal justice system is “showing its true colors” after police are being criticized for a double-standard for how they treated Black Lives Matters protesters and pro-Trump rioters at the Capitol.
Kason Little says only abolition can fix the current state of the policing system as people are pointing out the lack of resistance from police as a mostly white crowd stormed the Capitol.
“America has lewded Black people for hundreds of years, it has lewded our ancestors,” Little says. “
This is a true testament to why it needs to be abolished and dismantled.” Little says with a Democratic majority in both the House and the Senate, President-Election Joe Biden needs to get to work and take advantage of that.
