Black History Month: NJ’s first Black female state Supreme Court Justice Fabiana Pierre-Louis

People like Justice Fabiana Pierre-Louis. She is the first Black woman to serve on the New Jersey State Supreme Court.
Pierre-Louis’s role on the court led to changes in how police in New Jersey do their jobs.
Her ruling made it so that police officers cannot pull someone over based on their race or gender.
