New Jersey's annual black bear hunting season will come to an later today.
According to the state Fish and Wildlife Department, more than 487 bears have been killed since it began Monday.
Hunters say they began using muzzle-loading guns on Wednesday. 
Before that, hunters were only permitted to use bows and arrows.
The hunt ends at sundown tonight.
