It's Tuesday. That means it's time for another local spot that makes up the best of New Jersey. And this week we're checking out Karroo Cafe in Harrison with meteorologist Mike Rizzo. I'm at Karroo in Harrison where they take this and they turn it into this and I'm telling you this tastes real good. I'm with Priscilla. She's gonna explain to us a little bit more about what kind of coffee do you have? Tell me, what do we have? So, our company of roast coffee from kind of 45 countries. Ok. So we have the house blend here. We have the maestro that we use for all this. So, drinks, what does that taste like? It's like a chocolate nutty. Yeah, it's nice. Really good. We're gonna try it later. Oh, ok. Then the blossom is more nutty and clean finished. And we have the, the list that has more fruity notes. Oh, ok. Well, that's awesome selection. And you have food as well, right? We have breakfast here, brunch and a lot of croissants. All the croissants that you can imagine you make them right here. Yes, that is great. Everything is fresh and we prepare it every single day. So you can enjoy all the taste, all the freshness, everything. That's great. You know, I'll tell you the sandwiches, the coffee, everything here is incredible. And Priscilla, you do latte Art, right? Yes. I'll wait until you see this. This is gonna be awesome. We'll do that.

I'm back with Priscilla at Caparo and we're gonna make some latte art, right? And you're, you're, you're the queen of this. This looks amazing. So, is there a technique? How does it work? Well, the secret is in um how we extract the coffee and also the temperature and texture of the milk? So I'm gonna show very quickly how to make it all about the angle. OK. All about the angle, right? So just pour it in, right? OK. Oh, closer here then go closer to the surface. Oh Wait. Oh, I get it. OK. Oh This is really bad. Art. What am I doing? What's happening? There's no art to it. Oh my gosh. I'm making a mess. Well, this is why we can't have nice things. So Priscilla, thank you. Maybe one day I'll get it closer to that. Uh But for now um yeah, I just, I made, I made a soup instead. It's OK.

I'm here with Anthony and Priscilla of Coco and Harrison. And this place is just a perfect mixture of environment of food and of course, delicious coffee. So what are you hoping that people take away about this place if they were to come and visit? Well, I think at the end of the day, we want to really give a great experience um from the beginning that you walk in until you leave. Uh you have the environment, like you said, we also have amazing products, uh coffee that we roast ourselves, that we grow ourselves in Nicaragua. So that's also the whole experience again. And also the most important that they feel like they are in their house. They feel like, you know, we're their family and they can feel comfortable and spend a, a nice time. And, and that's the thing like, you know, you walk in, you feel like family, you feel like home. I mean, the environment, I feel like I'm in a living room right now, not a coffee shop. So it's great. And I gotta say cheers to that guys, excellent and amazing job with the place. Thank you.
