A parish in Bergen County that fell victim to arson earlier this month did not let that keep them from celebrating Christmas.
A fire occurred at the Most Blessed Sacrament Parish Church in Franklin Lakes back on Dec. 11.
According to police, James Mayers, 26, set that fire on purpose – and has since been arrested and charged with aggravated arson and burglary. Officials say he allegedly started the fire with gasoline and a lighter.
The congregation Wednesday gathered at the gymnasium inside the church's school for a Christmas Day service.
