A Bergen County man has been found guilty of sexually assaulting a child under the age of 13, according to authorities.

The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office says Marcelo Velez, 59, committed the crime at his home in Woodcliff Lake. His relationship to the victim is unclear.

He is set to be sentenced in January and faces up to 25 years in prison.
