FORECAST:
It will be gorgeous with lots of sunshine and fair weather. There may be a few clouds today but otherwise trending sunny with low humidity. The temperatures will be in the lower 80s.
Tomorrow will be similar, and it turns warmer through the weekend and early next week where we could see a brief heat wave if temperatures reach the 90s early next week.
The next chance for rain will be on Tuesday with passing showers.
There is a RIP CURRENT STATEMENT in effect for the New Jersey coastline today and tomorrow for the high risk for the development of dangerous and life-threatening rip currents. It is important to swim near and at the discretion of a lifeguard. This is coming from swells from a distant Tropical Storm.
There is a cluster of offshore thunderstorms that may slowly develop into another tropical storm or depression, but it is a very low chance. It would not directly affect New Jersey. The smoky haze continues to linger in the sky, but it will be diluted for tomorrow and Saturday, which allows the sky to be a bit bluer.
