Back-to-back storms? There’s weather to watch this weekend in the tri-state

Beautiful weather today. On a scale of 1-10, let's call it a 7.

THURSDAY: Lots of sun and even warmer. Most of the state should peak in the low- to mid-70s. That's our spring weather trifecta. We won't make it to four consecutive days of beautiful weather.

FRIDAY: We cloud over on Friday with on-and-off showers. Daytime highs are still warm in the low-70s.

WEEKEND: Looks to have improved a touch. Saturday is still better than Sunday. St. Patrick's Day is cloudy. Temperatures are in the upper-50s to low-60s for Saturday and Sunday.

COMING UP: Next week, when we officially see spring arrive, the temperatures don't cooperate. The conditions take a tumble back to what they normally feel like at the beginning of March or the end of February.
