Firefighters battled a three-alarm blaze in Hudson County Wednesday.The fire broke out at a building on Avenue C in Bayonne. Officials say luckily no one lived in the building, but the damage is extensive.According to officials, a couple living next door was able to escape the blaze. The husband told News 12 New Jersey that his smoke alarms were working, but another neighbor had to wake up his wife by banging on their door to tell them about the fire.Officials say they are still investigating what caused the fire.
