The coach of Montclair Immaculate women's basketball team has been suspended for "unsportsmanlike conduct" following a season-opening blowout.
Coach Jimmy Kreie was suspended for four games following a game against Caldwell that ended with a score of 104-30.
So-called "running-clock rules," which prevent such drastic disparities in scores, are typically employed in cases such as these and reportedly should have been applied at the game in question.
The coach will reportedly return later this season.
