A Brigantine babysitter is facing charges after police say she was intoxicated while on the job, leaving a toddler to wander the neighborhood alone.
Police responded to a call on Monday afternoon about a toddler wandering unattended. A concerned neighbor located the child unharmed.
Upon further investigation, police discovered that the child's babysitter, Jena Davidson, was found unresponsive at the residence.
Police allege that Davidson had consumed a significant amount of alcohol belonging to the homeowner.
Davidson is scheduled to appear in court to face charges related to the incident.
