Authorities seek information regarding deadly crash on Garden State Parkway
New Jersey State Police are seeking the public’s help with information about a deadly crash on the Garden State Parkway over the weekend.
The crash happened on Nov. 6 around 3 p.m. in Woodbridge. Police say that a 2009 Jeep Liberty and 200 Chevrolet Impala collided on the northbound side of the highway. The Jeep overturned.
The driver of the Jeep was thrown from the vehicle and died of her injuries. She was identified as 51-year-old Melissa Craven, of Scotch Plains.
The driver of the Impala was not seriously injured.
Anyone who may have witnessed the crash or the events leading up to it is asked to call the New Jersey State Police Bloomfield Station at 732-441-4500, ext. 3400. Anonymous tips are welcome.
