New Jersey State Police are probing a deadly crash over the weekend on the Garden State Parkway.

According to state police, a white jeep and a sedan crashed in the northbound lanes Saturday afternoon near exit 132.

State police say the jeep flipped. The driver was thrown out, and later died.

Traffic was backed up for miles as crews worked to clear the scene. Three lanes were shut down as a result.
