3ds agoNew York authorities are offering a reward for information about the shooting of a New York State Trooper on Long Island last Wednesday night.
Officials say they are searching for a black sedan that was possibly a Dodge Charger that had temporary New Jersey plates. The temporary New Jersey plate number is 997636T.
The vehicle had custom exhaust tips and tinted rear-view windows.

A reward of up to $15,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest.
Officials say that it happened around 11:45 p.m. on the Southern State Parkway in West Hempstead, New York. They say the trooper stopped to help who he thought was a stranded driver.
The trooper was shot in the leg and is expected to make a full recovery.
