Authorities in Hudson County say one person was killed in a shooting early Saturday morning in Jersey City.

They say the shooting happened near Grant Avenue and Martin Luther King Drive around 4 a.m.

Police say 41-year-old Ishamell McCany was shot in the torso and died.
