A 29-year-old man shot and killed his 23-year-old girlfriend before turning the gun on himself, according to the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office.
Authorities say that Tyquan Thomas and Ashley Bradby were found dead on a sidewalk near 290 Bright St. in Jersey City just before 2:30 a.m. Thursday. A spokesperson for the prosecutor’s office says that it appears Thomas and Bradby were involved in a domestic dispute nearby that eventually carried out into the street.
It is believed that Thomas shot Bradby and then killed himself.
A gun was found at the scene.
