Authorities: Debris sparks fire under Atlantic City boardwalk
A spokesperson for the Atlantic City Police Department says that officers spotted flames coming up from under the boardwalk near New Jersey Avenue.

1h agoDebris under the Atlantic City boardwalk caught fire, damaging the walkway, according to authorities.
A spokesperson for the Atlantic City Police Department says that officers spotted flames coming up from under the boardwalk near New Jersey Avenue. It happened just after 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
One firefighter was treated for a minor injury.
A section of the boardwalk will need to be replaced.
