A man from Belleville has been convicted of murder for fatally stabbing his roommate 10 years ago.

Authorities say Edwin Andujar and Thomas Parent lived together in an apartment on Wallace Street. Andujar stabbed Parent several times as he sat in a wheelchair.

The first guilty verdict, which occurred seven years ago, was thrown out due to an issue with jury selection.

Andujar now faces life in prison, according to authorities.
