An auction for a VIP viewing of the implosion of the former Trump Plaza casino, built by former President Donald Trump, brought in over $16,000 on Wednesday.
Mayor Marty Small said 10 packages that included VIP tickets to view the Feb. 17 implosion of the former casino went for over $6,000.
The viewing includes two front row tickets for the implosion. You'll also be a VIP guest, and get to attend an implosion party with city officials. There's also a one night stay at Ocean Casino resort, as well as dinner for two.
The Hard Rock casino also donated $10,000. Proceeds will benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Atlantic City.
A previous plan to auction the right to press the button that would dynamite the building fell through.
