At least 40 homeless after East Orange fire

Officials say at least 40 people are homeless due to a three-alarm fire in East Orange. Firefighters battled the blaze at a building on William Street for more than 10 hours after the flames ignited

Officials say at least 40 people are homeless due to a three-alarm fire in East Orange.
Firefighters battled the blaze at a building on William Street for more than 10 hours after the flames ignited Monday night.
Authorities say part of the roof collapsed and that at least three people were injured in the fire. All of the tenants made it out of the building, but the structure could not be salvaged. Tenants say some of the smoke alarms did not go off.
