The Asbury Park Board of Education has voted to remove the head high school football coach after he was found drunk and partially naked on the football field, according to NJ.com.
The outlet reports that Nick Famularo will officially not be returning as the coach this year and that the school's athletic director, assistant football coach and two others were placed on administrative leave during the meeting.
Asbury Park police say that Famularo was found seemingly drunk at the field and apparently told police that he was locked out of the locker room. He was reportedly shirtless and had a football jersey wrapped around his waist.
Police say that they found vomit on some of the players’ jerseys inside the locker room.
Famularo was not charged.
