An arrest has been made in the fatal stabbing at a busy Newark intersection that occurred in broad daylight Tuesday.
Authorities say Jerod Wise, of East Orange, attacked Curtis Johnson near Broad and Market streets at around 3 p.m. Johnson suffered a severe neck laceration and died after being taken to the hospital.
Wise is a known felon with five prior convictions.
According to police, the altercation arose from an argument the night before. Wise was arrested Wednesday at his sister?s home in Newark.
