Police say the bodies of two unidentified females have been discovered in East Orange today.
Officials say one of the bodies, who has been identified as 45-year-old Lisa Lango, of East Orange, was discovered at 263 North Grove St. Authorities say the preliminary investigation indicates that it was a domestic-related homicide.
The Essex County Prosecutor's Office says that 50-year-old William Simmons, of East Orange and Barnegat, was arrested in connection with the crime and has been charged with Lango's murder.
Officials say Simmons was also charged with possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose.
A second body that was partially decomposed was found near North Ward Place and 15th Street, according to police.
Police say the crimes do not appear to be connected.
