Police have made an arrest in connection to what investigators are calling a suspicious death in Asbury Park.
Knowledge B. Allah, 54, of Asbury Park, was charged late Wednesday night with first-degree murder, among other charges.
Allah was lodged in Monmouth County Correctional Institution. He will likely have a first appearance this afternoon.
Salah Ali, 57, was found dead inside one of the stairwells at the Dr. Robinson Towers, a senior citizen living complex located at 1000 Third Ave.
The first 911 calls came in just before Wednesday at 11:30 a.m.
Once police arrived, they found Ali dead in the stairwell.
The circumstances surrounding the death have not been released.
