The U.S. Army's test of its $517 million spy blimp raised many eyebrows yesterday for onlookers on the Jersey Shore.
The airship had its first test flight from the Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, where the German airship Hindenburg crashed in 1937.
The hybrid air vehicle flew for about an hour-and-a-half and was said to be a success.
