The incident occurred around 7 a.m. when the victim heard glass breaking near the front door and went to investigate.
The suspect, wearing dark clothes and a mask, confronted the victim with a gun.
Police say the suspect fled through the front door to a waiting dark sedan.
No arrests have been made.
