For those on the move this morning and this weekend, people in New Jersey have felt the temperature drop.
Most of the state just had its coldest high temperatures since Dec. 24, 2022.
And in Edison, there is still some snow on the ground.
There were earlier delays on the northeast corridor, and News 12 New Jersey is keeping an eye for the delays this morning.
There is an alert on the Bergen line.
For Amtrak travelers, a new alert from Amtrak this morning, due to signal issues several trains are canceled. Also they say customers traveling on the northeast corridor should expect lengthy delays in and out of New York Penn station as well as delays along the corridor and if you're traveling this holiday season, New Jersey transit expanded their family savings for the holiday season, making it easier to ride with the family.
News 12 New Jersey spoke to commuters at the Edison Train Station.
One commuter was headed to Princeton for work. "I'm a spring and fall guy," said George. "I got my layers on, I'm ready to go."
Another commuter headed to Trenton said you have to be prepared for the weather. "Two pants, a double layer of pants, the gloves, the hat, longer jacket, just have to be prepared for the weather"
As you get out the door this morning make sure to continue monitoring the trains and look out for any alerts.
