Authorities say several dogs have been found abandoned in northern New Jersey.
This week, eight abandoned German Shepherds have been rescued.
According to the Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge, there have been sightings of at least three other dogs. They say none of the dogs had collars or microchips.
Rescuers believe the dogs are victims of backyard breeding and may be related.
Anyone who has experience with German Shephards and would like to adopt is asked to contact the Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge.
