Americans are expected to spend a record-breaking amount of money on Halloween this year.
The National Retail Federation says that Americans will shell out $10 billion this year. That’s $2 billion more spent than in 2020, and the most spend since 2017.
A third of that money is expected to be used to buy costumes for adults, children and pets.
On average, consumers spend $102 per person on Halloween.
