Triple Crown-winner American Pharoah has arrived at Monmouth Park racetrack ahead of Sunday's Haskell Invitational race.
The famed horse arrived in New Jersey Wednesday afternoon by plane. He flew into Atlantic City airport on a craft specifically designed to transport horses.
American Pharoah was paraded in front of the media and fans before being taken to his barn where he took the rest of the day off.
Fans and even Monmouth Park officials are excited for the Sunday's race.
"This is the Super Bowl," says Bob Kulina, president of park operator Darby Development. "It's pretty exciting."
About 80,000 spectators are expected to attend the Haskell Race Sunday.
