The Monmouth County Park System says the algae bloom advisory at the Manasquan Reservoir has been lifted.
Earlier this month, the agency warned people to not come into contact with the water due to harmful algae.
The 770-acre reservoir is also a source of fresh water for nearby towns. The drinking water was not affected.
