Summer is about to be in full swing and for parents and children in need of summer plans, Operation Brain Freeze is a safe one to participate in.

To encourage children to spend more time outdoors, Operation Brain Freeze has an impactful mission that brings police and local safety rules together to provide ice cream to kids in the community.

If a Toms River or Madison police officer spots a child wearing a helmet outside, while riding a scooter, skateboard or bike, they will reward them with a ticket to enjoy some ice cream at participating vendors.
