An aide is facing a felony charge after video appears to show a veteran being abused at a state-run facility in Westchester.

Authorities say Matthew Cox is charged with endangering the welfare of a person with disabilities.

Court documents state Cox is seen on video grabbing the victim by the neck, restraining him and striking him in the throat.

Officials say the victim suffers from PTSD, Alzheimer’s and other illnesses.

The incident was revealed in an exclusive Turn to Tara investigation by News 12 at the New York State Veterans Home in Montrose.
