Aberdeen mom accused of child abuse lived in 'home of horror'
Two young children were found half-naked in the snow while their mother was allegedly inside their Aberdeen Township apartment passed out on drugs.
Police arrested 26-year-old Patricia Lennon at her Matawan Terrace apartment on Cross Road Monday. Authorities say the apartment was a ?home of horror? with human feces, garbage, old food and knives throughout the place. Neighbors say they often found the two boys, ages three and four, wandering outside by themselves, sometimes without clothes.
The two boys were placed in temporary care with a family member in Keansburg. Meanwhile, police say Lennon admitted to being on drugs. She has been charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.
