Labor Day and traffic go hand in hand, and AAA is sounding the alarm to drivers.
The most ideal time to drive today was before 1 p.m., according to AAA. The worst driving experience Thursday is expected through 8 p.m.
Then for Friday, AAA says to hit the road before noon.
Overall, Saturday is expected to be the worst day for travel.

“I listen for the bridges and tunnels and all of that," said Sandy Krueger of New Jersey.
“So you educate yourself as much as you can," said News 12's Jill Croce.
“A little bit, but then it’s all fate," said Krueger.
If you must travel this holiday, it's not all bad news. AAA says gas prices have stayed low this summer, even matching 2021's summer averages.
