The holiday travel rush got underway Friday on the New Jersey Turnpike.
A steady flow of people made their way through the Thomas Edison rest stop in Woodbridge. Many motorists told News 12 early Friday that it felt like any other day.
New Jersey Turnpike rest stops are inundated during the holidays, with millions of drivers taking the I-95 corridor to their destinations.
AAA estimated that 103 million Americans are traveling this holiday. Of that record number, AAA said nearly 2.5 million of them are from New Jersey.
