The red carpet was out Tuesday morning and loved ones were waiting outside at CareOne at Hanover in Whippany, when a 94-year-old man was discharged after beating COVID19.
Jack Holzberg has been a survivor from the beginning. As a teen, Jack survived the Holocaust in a concentration camp.

"For him to survive that, the man above was looking over him," says his son Marc. "Tough as nails. He went through a lot. My father went through a lot in his time."
Decades later, he expanded his family and now, has a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
"He's just blessed," says Marc. "He feels it every day when he wakes up that it's a beautiful day outside and he's very grateful.
