Authorities say an 86-year-old Monmouth County man sexually assaulted a 13-year-old boy earlier this month.

County prosecutors say bail was set at $250,000 cash for Albert DeCresci, who faces sex assault and child endangerment charges. DeCresci is a former Rumson resident who was living in Tinton Falls when the alleged assault occurred.

It wasn't known if DeCresci has retained an attorney. He could face up to 15 years in priosn if he's convicted on both counts.

Prosecutors say Decresci was "found in the act of the sexual assault," but did not disclose further details. They say the victim knows DeCresci, but the two are not related.
