A New Jersey boy whose reaction to a generous gift went viral is paying it forward with a holiday toy drive for hurricane victims.
Jayden Perez, 8, was surprised with two VIP tickets from his mother’s boss to watch the Giants, his all-time favorite football team, take on the Detroit Lions back in September.
Since then, Perez says he has a learned a valuable lesson about being generous to others. As part of his mission to give back, he and his family are collecting toys to deliver to hurricane victims in Puerto Rico.
Perez and his family also helped the victims of Hurricane Maria in October, when they collected food and supplies for the victims.
The Perez family will be collecting toys through Dec. 15.
