According to police, Robert Bork was hit by a vehicle on Fairview Avenue near Larriarson Road in High Bridge around noon, just before students were dismissed from High Bridge Elementary School.

yesterdayA 75-year-old crossing guard was struck and killed by a car in Hunterdon County yesterday.
According to police, Robert Bork was hit by a vehicle on Fairview Avenue near Larriarson Road in High Bridge around noon, just before students were dismissed from High Bridge Elementary School.
Bork was airlifted to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The driver stayed on the scene.
The Hunterdon County Prosecutor's Office is investigating the incident.
