There's been another outbreak of whooping cough in New Jersey. Since last month, seven children in Hunterdon County have come down with it.
Children that suffer from the illness will cough continuously for a few seconds and then stop to take a deep breath, creating a whooping sound.
Whooping cough has resurfaced in recent years as some parents stopped having children vaccinated, fearing it causes autism.
Infants are at the greatest risk of whooping cough. The Tdap vaccine protects against it along with Tetanus and Diptheria.
