Five people were rescued after their boat capsized near Deal, according to authorities.

The rescue was organized by a joint effort of the Coast Guard, police and a few good Samaritans.

The Coast Guard said the group was found sitting on top of the sinking boat on Sunday.

Good Samaritans were able to get them out of the water and keep them safe until help arrived.
