A 4-year-old boy was injured after being run over by the wheel of a tractor Sunday afternoon in Upper Township.
According to New Jersey State Police, officers responded to Regional Urgent Care in Upper Township where they learned that the boy fell off the tractor "and was subsequently run over by one of its wheels."
The child sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was airlifted to a local hospital, police said.
Upper Township is located south of Ocean City in Cape May County.
State police are continuing to investigate the incident.
